As a culturally diverse and non-judgmental professional, I bring extensive experience in leadership, employee management, motivation, investigations, incident management, and team development. I thrive in high-pressure environments, maintaining calm and focus while navigating complex challenges. Skilled in communication and collaboration, I work effectively across all levels of organizational hierarchy. Education: I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science, which laid the foundation for understanding societal structures and human interactions. Building on this, I earned a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Communication, equipping me with advanced knowledge in managing teams, fostering effective communication, and driving organizational success. These academic achievements directly inform my approach to leadership, conflict resolution, and strategic planning in my roles. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies with an emphasis on Public Administration. This program deepens my understanding of leadership theories and practices, particularly in public service contexts, enabling me to contribute even more effectively to emergency management, crisis response, and higher education administration. Higher Education Leadership: I currently serve as the Assistant Dean of Student Development and Title IX Coordinator at Dominican University New York. My career in higher education includes prior roles as Director of Residence Life at St. Thomas Aquinas College and Assistant Director of Residence Life and Chief Judicial Hearing Officer at Dominican University NY (formerly Dominican College). Crisis and Emergency Management Expertise and Leadership: In addition to my higher education experience, I have a strong background in crisis management, emergency response, and emergency preparedness. I am proud to lead as Chief of Department for the Nanuet Community Ambulance Corps and serve as a Deputy EMS Coordinator for Rockland County, New York. I hold multiple national and instructor certifications, further reflecting my commitment to service and leadership.
