Experiences as a Summer Associate and Associate, Kenyon & Kenyon, New York, NY-Patent Opinions: Drafted complex chemical synthesis and formulation clearance opinions from the initial design of STN worldwide searches to the analysis and completion of the final written opinion-Patent Litigation: ANDA (Abbreviated New Drug Application) patent litigation challenging a patented HIV reverse transcriptase inhibitor. Managed contract attorneys, produced client Teva’s documents, and analyzed adverse party documents. Analyzed relevance of documents to depositions of inventors and corporate representatives. Analyzed prior art and assisted in finding, retaining and developing expert opinion reports submitted in the case. Despite the early view that the case was unlikely to result in a positive outcome, our team was able to obtain a favorable settlement in August 2011-Patent Prosecution: Office actions.
