I am an IT professional specializing in systems and network administration, project planning and management, and information security. I have extensive experience implementing and managing all facets of Windows Domains, including Group Policy, Exchange, and IIS and am comfortable administering disparate systems, including Windows, Linux, and UNIX in both physical and virtual environments from the initial deployment to backup and disaster recovery. I have significant experience in managing Microsoft Azure including Entra ID, Defender for Endpoints, and Intune, as well as Google Workspace. My expertise also includes implementing robust cybersecurity measures and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as NIST 800-171 and GLBA. I have worked extensively with Cisco and Aruba/HP networks, configuring and managing firewalls, switches, wireless LANs, and VoIP technologies, and recently managed a full network infrastructure redesign involving the sale of a Class B IPv4 network. In addition to the technical aspects of IT, I am well-versed in liaising with vendors, creating policies and procedures, negotiating contracts, reviewing invoices, and preparing budgets.
