About Jonathan Dueck

I practice commercial litigation with a specialty in construction disputes and experience in national and international arbitration, privacy matters, insolvency, foreclosure and debt recovery, insurance defence, environmental cumulative effects litigation and general commercial disputes. I have assisted with matters before all levels of court and through arbitration and mediation, providing thorough and effective service to my clients. I also have extensive experience in customer service, sales, and sales management. I completed my undergraduate honours studies at the University of Calgary, winning numerous awards and scholarships, earning a place on the Dean's List each year, and receiving the Silver Medallion as the top graduating student in my department. I then completed the 3.5 year joint McGill Law program in 3 years, graduating with degrees in both Common Law and Civil Law in April 2017. I summered and completed my articles with the Calgary office of Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP and was called to the bar in September 2018, continuing my legal practice at Norton Rose until March 2021. I moved to Bennett Jones LLP in April 2021, where I currently practice in the Calgary office as an Associate.
