About Jonathan Engman

Jonathan Engman is an attorney at the Troy, MI office of Hladik, Onorato & Federman, LLP. Prior to joining the HOF Law Group, Jon was a shareholder of Fabrizio & Brook, P.C. where he was the managing partner for the litigation and real estate departments. Jon obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Jon concentrates his law practice in the area of real estate, mortgage lending, construction, curative title, contracts, estate planning and has extensive litigation experience. He has organized and presented seminars for the National Business Institute on bankruptcy law and has given talks on property preservation, lost mitigation and foreclosures at conferences throughout the country. Jon has been recognized as a Top Attorney in Michigan consecutively in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 by Super Lawyers Magazine. In addition, Jon represents individuals with firearms and concealed carry issues. Jon was appointed and currently sits as a Case Evaluator in Oakland County. Jon obtained his undergraduate education from Hillsdale College in Michigan graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Economy and History. After leaving Hillsdale College, he served as a police officer for Bloomfield Township in Oakland County, Michigan. Jon worked his entire police career as a road officer and was selected to become a Field Training Officer. Jon is a member of the Detroit Alumni Chapter of Sigma Chi and a Life Member of the NRA. Jon left law enforcement to practice law and worked for an insurance defense firm before joining Fabrizio & Brook in Specialties: Real Estate, curative title, mortgage lending, construction, litigation defense, CPL law and estate planning.
