I currently hold the position of Emergency Preparedness Supervisor for Mee Memorial Healthcare System. I enjoy the challenges that have been provided, as having sole responsibility, with the 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, 4 Out Patient Clinics, Physical Therapy and Dialysis Centers and a 58 Bed Skilled Nursing Facility. The emergency preparedness opportunities in such a system have proven to be both never ending and a joy to accomplish with such diverse staffing. It has been a blessing to watch staff and patients grow in preparedness at work as well as their personal preparedness. This has left me and the staff confident that we can muster through all-hazards that we approach as a single Prepared System that will only assist in bolstering the local community resiliency during hard times of an event.
