About Jonathan Feldman

I am an art curator and scholar from Buenos Aires, Argentina who specializes in Modern and Contemporary Art. I have a PhD in Comparative Art Theory from Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero and over 10 years of experience in research, education, and curation in the field of modern and contemporary art. My mission is to promote and disseminate artistic expressions that challenge and inspire audiences around the world. As Chief Curator at MACBA, I was in charge of the curatorial department, public programming, collection management, articulations with partners, research, and donor cultivation. I also have an extensive career as an independent curator, developing exhibitions and projects for various art spaces in Argentina and the United States. Additionally, I teach curatorial project courses at Universidad Nacional de las Artes, Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero, and Universidad del Museo Social Argentino, where I design and implement the curricula, provide lectures, mentor and evaluate student projects and thesis, and conduct research. I am interested in positions that involve research and curatorial work, exhibition production, higher education, art consultancy, and cultural management.
