About Jonathan Gallagher

I’m an animation director currently building and leading an animation team inside a creative agency. My background is in animation and design, shaped by years in the commercial sector's fast-paced, high-expectation environments that taught me how to deliver, adapt, and stay sharp. These days, my focus is shifting toward creative dynamics: how we collaborate, how people grow, and what gets in the way of making good work together. I’m interested in the human side of direction, how to lead without overpowering, how to listen better, and how to build trust that encourages creative independence. As a creative, I still light up when I see something beautifully timed or unexpectedly clever in motion. That sense of awe never goes away, and it’s part of what drives me to keep learning, observing, and staying close to the work itself.
