About Jonathan Gilbert

I have 15 years retail experience through a number of roles and across a variety of locations of varying sizes. As the Branch Manager at East of England Co-op, I provide outstanding Customer Service to our customers. We strive for excellence and make each experience as personal as possible while providing an enjoyable one. My responsibilities include training and development of new and existing staff; overseeing all aspects of daily operations within a fast paced environment. My role also includes Time Management of internal and external clients and complaints. These skills have helped me build my problem solving abilities, attention to detail, and my ability to work well with a team. I have lead teams in stores to successfully increase sales and profitability significantly. Through my career I have implemented new systems in stores to include payroll, stock and ordering as well as new working practices and policies.
