About Jonathan Golding

First and foremost, I love sports. Like many colleagues, I played and excelled in sports, but that simply wasn't fulfilling enough. When I attended my first professional hockey game between the Red Wings and Blackhawks in 2011, I should've been impressed with the young players on the Chicago roster, or the recent Stanley Cup Champion Red Wings. Instead, I was focused on the hundreds of sponsors on the walls and the thousands of employees and volunteers that, even then, I knew were the backbone of gamedays at Joe Louis Arena. Since then, I've continuously surrounded myself with sports through athletics, volunteering, internships, and other career opportunities. It has become my mission, in any workplace, to approach my job with a sense of self-pride and self-motivation. As I continue to develop as a leader in more recent opportunities, I try to lead by example in an effort to build strong relationships with my peers and leave lasting impressions on guests, members, spectators, coaches, athletes, campers, parents, or anyone I have the pleasure of helping, in some way. I look forward to continuing my career with a humble attitude and a focus on delivering the best possible service to our valued members in an historic country club.
