About Jonathan Gooch
I am currently an Assistant Professor at Arcadia University. I mainly head the general chemistry sequence, but have expanded my role to teaching materials science and a senior seminar course (CUE). My main goal in any course that I teach is to assist students in their academic development. I find this to be crucial to their success down the road. Students learn in their own ways, so my approach is to demonstrate a variety of perspectives to best connect the material with what they know. I will challenge students to push beyond their comfort zone to see that they are capable of so much more than they once thought. Based on student feedback, I will adjust within a given semester to make sure most are pointed in the right direction.
