About Jonathan Goss

Jonathan is an award-winning restaurant and bar designer with 20 years professional experience both in New Zealand and in the UK. Previous to his current role at Warren and Mahoney, Jonathan held an Associate Design Director position for hospitality specialists IZZARD Design and Senior Associate with Jasmax in New Zealand. Returning from the UK, Jonathan worked as a hospitality and retail designer with renowned agencies Brinkworth Design and Fusion DnA where his skills and experience in hospitality design were developed and refined in this unique specialisation. Jonathan brings a wealth of specific hospitality experience to any restaurant, bar or café project. His considered approach and innate ability to listen and interpret a client’s requirements allows him to quickly build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and consultants alike to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences for his client’s customers. As a skilled designer, his abilities have exposed him to a range of experience which spans sectors beyond hospitality, including retail, aviation, workplace, education, residential and exhibition design; where the fundamental principle of ‘hospitality’ and the purpose of making guests or users feel welcome, enhances the overall experience and aids in the success of any project.
