About Jonathan Grimm

Jonathan Grimm attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where he graduated with honors and co-wrote and co-directed The Old Man and the Seymour, a comedic short film that was selected into numerous film festivals nationwide, including the Austin Film Festival, LA Shorts Fest, and Friar's Club Comedy Festival. He went on to help pioneer the CollegeHumor.com video department, directing more more than videos during his tenure as an in-house director, including nearly 600 episodes of the Webby-award winning CollegeHumor series Jake and Amir, which has since garnered a billion views. He and his writing partner were nominated for Best Writing Webbys for their sketch, Facebook Ruins Job Interview, and their short film, 36 Questions. Grimm has written and directed content for Comedy Central, MTV, Funny or Die, Buzzfeed, Fox Sports, Spotify, Lexus, Dos Equis, Wired, TGI Fridays, L’Wren Scott, Ford, Axe, Samsung, Chase, Interscope Records, Toyota, and many other national brands. His work has been featured in Time Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, The Week, Gizmodo, Gawker, Someecards, Mental Floss, McSweeney’s, The Huffington Post, NY Daily News, Cracked, Splitsider, and Playboy. Grimm is currently developing several original projects for film and television, including an original series for Disney.
