About Jonathan Grohs

Finance and Strategy Director on the Emerging Markets Finance team at Prudential Financial. Member of Prudential's 2020 Leadership Development Program. Prior to joining Prudential, I attended NYU Leonard N. Stern School of Business as a full-time MBA student. I graduated with specializations in Finance, Accounting, and Financial Systems & Analytics. During my time at Stern, I interned at J.P. Morgan in the Investment Banking division covering the Technology sector. Prior to NYU, I worked at IBM in the Microelectronics Division, which was then sold to GLOBALFOUNDRIES. Over 6+ years at IBM / GLOBALFOUNDRIES I worked on numerous projects that included: leading a team of 10+ senior engineers to implement a company-wide technology deliverable (Mask Process Control) in time for high-priority test builds, constructing complex models using high-order polynomial functions, and providing exceptional 24/7 support in a high-pressure semiconductor manufacturing environment. I graduated Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. My hobby is experimental mechanics, which has led me to projects such as converting my diesel truck to operate exclusively on waste vegetable oil and working on airplanes and professional race cars.
