About Jonathan Headley

Jon is a hacker and Python coder who hacks systems and web applications to find security vulnerabilities and write Python code to work efficiently and effectively to keep people and their data safe. Jon spent 5 years as an Air Force Officer doing military acquisitions and project management. Jon focused on very tedious requirement analysis and documentation. Jon utilized his skills to save the Air Force millions of dollars and brought key technology to the war-fighter helping them execute their mission and stay alive. Jon is a capable leader who executes the mission to the best of his ability. After the military, Jon took a job as a sales representative for an office technology company. In a short, 6 month timeframe Jon was able to exceed his quota by an average of 14%. Jon did all the right things to succeed including frequent networking events, joining the Clemson Chamber of Commerce, participating in trade shows, and building relationships with his clients. Jon was a leader to his colleagues who looked to him for advice. To many in the company, especially Jon's manager, he had great potential at a promising career. However, Jon found that a sales position wasn't a good fit for him or his family. After sales, Jon found a job as a network engineer for an international Internet Service provider where he fell in love with internet networking. He also fell in love with Python. Jon strives to increase his networking and python skills to help his team solve complex problems and keep the network up and running. Finding a job in a technical field has been an amazing experience for Jon and he loves looking for new ways to automate tasks and make his team more efficient. Jon has found a new passion in cyber security. He loves trying to find vulnerabilities with web applications or in networks and services and trying to exploit them. His goal with these ethical hacking skills is to help keep people and their data safe. He is technologically savvy and good at what he does for the good of others. When not working, Jon spends precious time with his wife and 3 children. As a family, they endeavor to become steeped in their faith in Jesus Christ and nurture that faith with countless devotions and church events. Jon uses the morals and discipline required to be a disciple in all aspects of his life, especially in his professional life. Thanks be to God and to Him be the Glory, amen.
