About Jonathan Herman
Recent graduate of Kent State University with a BS degree in Aeronautical Systems Engineering, I am focused on beginning my professional career with a company which offers entry level positions, mentoring, and opportunities for team work and independent research. I am willing to relocate anywhere in the United States. Completed an internship with NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH August 2013 to December 2013. While there I was able to work with GeoMagic software, analyzing ice formation on airplane wings. My work resulted in detailed 3D models, data analysis, and descriptive reporting for the research team. I have emerging competence with MatLab, and have supported fellow students while they were learning this program. While in college, I particularly enjoyed classes in Materials and Processes, Aircraft Design, and Airport Management. Professional Interests: positions involving quality control, interfacing with manufacturing, and cost efficiencies for production, but am open to most entry level engineering opportunities.
