About Jonathan Hoover
Minnesota born and raised. I grew up in a small town with a population of about and graduated high school in a class of about 55 students. I enlisted in the Army National Guard at 17 for a 6-year contract. Now I am more than 2/3 done with my contract and I am establishing myself as a professional Dog Trainer. I started as a Kennel Attendant and quickly discovered my desire for learning about the mental capabilities of dogs. I began training hunting dogs, mainly German Shorthairs/Wirehairs and Labs and fell in love with the job so much that I didn't consider it work. Last spring, I accepted a position as a Dog Trainer at The Dog Wizard Twin Cities where I attended a 3-month academy to become a certified Dog Trainer and I am loving what I do. Teaching advanced obedience to people's fur children is by far the best career path for me.
