I am a capable manufacturing/process engineer, with a strong practical knowledge foundation in conventional machining. I am currently responsible for the technical side of machining processes, which produce high value, precision aerospace components, working within an accomplished manufacturing facility. I started early in engineering - I was selected into a young apprenticeship scheme at the age of 14 during school. After leaving school, I completed a modern apprenticeship in engineering tool making. I then worked as a machinist, manufacturing high precision aerospace components. During this stage of my career I studied part time, which resulted in achieving a foundation degree in integrated engineering, and then a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. 10+ years experience in conventional machining, both manual and CNC. 14+ years experience in the aerospace industry.
