About Jonathan Jonathan

As a research assistant at the University of Surabaya, I have gained experience in developing various products, including PCR/qPCR and LAMP Mastermixes, DNA/RNA/Plasmid isolation kits, and AHPND/WSSV/IMNV detection kits. Prior to this role, I completed an internship at a laboratory focused on developing tissue culture for Ginseng (Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer) and Red Ginger (Zingiber officinale Var. Rubrum), where I analyzed the growth characteristics of the Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer Adventitious root culture in 20 L air-lift bioreactor. My strongest skills are in molecular biology, including qPCR, PCR, nucleic acid isolation and analysis, protein production and purification, and molecular cloning. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, majoring in Health and Forensic Biotechnology from the University of Surabaya, where I conducted research for my thesis on the effects of Sto7d protein from Sulfolobus tokodaii fusion to Bst polymerase on its characteristic. As I look to the future, I am eager to continue expanding my skills and experiences in the field of molecular biology, and am excited to explore new opportunities to contribute to innovative research and development initiatives.
