About Jonathan Kao

I am a 6th Year Pharmacy Student studying at St. John’s University. As a Pharmacy Intern I have the opportunity to demonstrate my passion for medicine paired with the opportunity to make an impact through delivering quality patient care. I enjoy building strong relationships with people and take a genuine interest in people’s wellbeing. I value the importance of understanding the needs of my patients and professionalism, adaptability, and being very detail-oriented are three things that I keep in mind whenever I am assisting my patients with the various steps in filling prescriptions. What keeps me motivated is understanding medications at a deeper level and translating this knowledge to my patients which fulfills my goal of helping and guiding people to live healthier lives on a daily basis.
