As an entrepreneurial, agile and solutions-focused leader, I have enjoyed a dynamic career in hospitality management working as a Head Chef, Chef Consultant, Business Development Manager and Continuous Improvement Consultant for high-end venues, food and beverage businesses, and hospitality service providers and building my own high-growth fine food wholesale import business. I founded Perth Gourmet Trader as a start-up entity, driving year-on-year growth for 8 consecutive years and building a high-performing, customer-focused team. We sourced and procured specialist cheeses and fine foods from producers across Italy and France, wholesaling to major customers including Crown Casino, Optus Stadium, Virgin Airlines, and IGA stores as well as many independent pubs and restaurants throughout WA. As our profile grew, I had the opportunity to work as a Chef Consultant for Margaret River Gourmet Escape for 3 years, working alongside internationally celebrated chefs, food producers, and winemakers I leveraged my profile business acumen to support community development projects in a pro-bono capacity. As a Board Member of Tomkins Park Community & Recreation Association, I led strategic planning and change management, transforming the hospitality and events offering to drive exponential growth in membership and revenues for local sports clubs. The business reached its peak just as COVID struck and, regrettably, the impact of the global pandemic on Tourism, Hospitality, and global supply chain logistics meant the closure of Perth Gourmet Trader. After helping my loyal team find alternative employment, I have been working in a consulting capacity to drive innovation and continuous improvement for Trippas White Group.
