About Jonathan Knittel

I'm a data and automation professional that is passionate about understanding and efficiency. I've always been someone who wants to know the 'why' behind the 'what'- and data helps tell that story. I have a passion for enabling end-users to make actionable and insightful decisions by simplifying complex data points. I also enjoy enabling internal customers to do what they do best by automating time intensive and repetitive tasks through automation or process improvement. Professionally: I'm a Senior Business Automation Analyst at Avalara. I automate things through RPA and scripting, bring efficiency through streamlined process improvements, and enable leaders to make informed decisions by making data insights more accessible. Personally: I'm a life-long learner, avid reader, enjoyer of nature, and soccer/football enthusiast. I enjoy analyzing tactics, strategy, and numbers/statistics from major leagues around the world - and you'll find me cheering for my club - Everton - most weekends. Up the Toffees!
