I am an efficiency driven finance professional with a diverse background in the areas of lending, financial planning & management, investment fund accounting, and financial analysis & reporting. In past positions I performed as a decision maker. I was trusted as the main point of conflict resolution. I served as a primary individual managing daily operations and flow of business. My employers relied on my reports/analysis to support the strategic vision of the organization at an executive level. I adopted new responsibilities, even heading entirely new divisions for a growing bank. I have managed funds for various individuals with diverse needs as a portfolio analyst with full autonomy over investment analysis and selection. I am naturally curious, with an investigative mentality to seek out all angles to a problem. I welcome criticism and feel resolve to improve when corrected. I ask many questions and promote effective communication. Lifelong learning brings lifelong fulfillment! Since completing my B.S. of finance, I have pursued higher education through the CFA program (passed levels I and II, current level exam candidate). I am also completing the FMVA certification (Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst) as a technical ability refresher. In personal relationships, I’ve found that being kind and encouraging dispels doubt and elevates those around me. I strive to teach by example and value those who give their time to do the same for me. I enjoy the outdoors and my wonderful state of Utah. While others might bunker down for the winter, I eagerly wait for the ski resorts to open for a season of adventure. In the summers I enjoy golf, hiking, and anything involving fresh air.
