About Jonathan Lau

Hospitality Business Graduate from EHL with expertise in Cross-Cultural and Luxury Brand Management. In August 2021, I began my career at Rosewood's flagship property in Hong Kong as a Rooms Management Trainee and successfully graduated from the Rosewood Academy in the summer of 2022. Over the next 2 years, I progressed in diverse middle management roles, including Guest Services Manager, where I was primarily overseeing lobby operations and resolving guest complaints. Subsequently, as Concierge & Transportation Manager, leading our team of 35 to transform operations, driving departmental profit into positive figures for the first time since the hotel’s opening and achieving record revenue and profit in transportation. In September 2024, I transferred to Rosewood Miyakojima as Guest Experience Manager, spearheading Front of House operations and implementing PMS integration and experience programming. Most recently, I have taken on the role of Assistant Director of Rooms, where I continue to focus on strengthening operations, developing talent, and elevating the guest journey while ensuring the Rooms P&L is on track.
