SOLVING ITC DISPUTES Jonathan represents both complainants and respondents in the ITC to solve disputes over control of products coming into the United States. The ITC is a fast moving agency that results in hearings in as little as six months. Jonathan has guided clients through the stress of this speedy process while effectively protecting their products and their intellectual property. HANDLING PATENT LITIGATION FOR CLIENTSJonathan represents large clients, including several Fortune 100 companies, and numerous small businesses in federal court, state court, the ITC and the USPTO. His experience spans a wide range of technologies and scientific disciplines, including computer software and business methods, semiconductor processing and circuits, electronic auctions, voice over internet protocol (VoIP) communications and payments and financial services products, including credit debit and stored value cards. This breadth of experience enables Jonathan to assist clients in all facets of intellectual property disputes.SECURING, MANAGING AND MONETIZING PATENTS In his role as patent prosecutor, Jonathan counsels clients with regard to the development of strategic patent portfolios through patent procurement (prosecution); non-infringement, invalidity and product-clearance opinions; due diligence investigations; development of patent and other intellectual property enforcement programs; and licensing transactions and negotiations.
