About Jonathan Linkus

Jonathan is a pioneering urban designer and urban planner with experience in public and private master planning projects. His strategic focus as GHD’s Technical Service Lead for Urban Planning & Communities in the Americas is to ensure planning resources are connected and ready to lead work that meets the needs of governments, communities, and developers. Jonathan has led multi-disciplinary teams to new approaches on airport-area, university campus, and innovation district master plans. He also has experience in sports-and-entertainment and transit-oriented planning. He emphasizes thoughtful client and stakeholder inclusion, graphical storytelling, and strategic thinking across urban scales. His approach has garnered ten regional, state, and national planning awards as lead planner or planning project manager. Jonathan’s enthusiastic belief that infrastructure and ecology shares common ground with the human stories and investible, well-designed, communities is a perfect fit to enhance GHD’s unique brand of urban planning services.
