About Jonathan Lyne

I am a meticulous and results-oriented accounting and finance major with a legacy of fostering robust business relationships, spanning 6+ years. I have a strong foundation in financial accounting and financial analysis in addition to bookkeeping, quantitative research, statistical data analysis, and content curation. Currently, I am completing a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Finance and Accounting, and I keep my thumb on the pulse of emerging financial trends, best practices, and regulations. I’ve also had the pleasure of serving in a variety of key capacities, including (but not limited to) Legislative Analyst, Assistant to the Controller, and most recently, Bookkeeper for Veteran Auto Repair. Inherently driven, I am well adept at managing company finances, including payroll, invoices, vendor payments, collections, and AR/AP. I am also well adept at analyzing operating budgets, capital budgets, payroll tax reporting, and audit and tax reporting requirements. Previous achievements include improving fundraising for the Texarkana Firefighters Association while devising and implementing political advocacy content for print, television, and the web. Later, I contributed to the annual financial audit at Faith Mission Homeless Shelter by preparing schedules and reports for the Controller. As I look to the future, I envision working in the tech space as a Controller. In my spare time, I enjoy meeting new people to expand my personal network. So, thank you for getting to know me better.
