I am a Partner at Grant Thornton Australia in Sydney, specialising in Transaction Advisory Services. I support private equity and corporate clients on acquisitions, divestments and listings both domestically and internationally. I have experience with working on cross border transactions, coordinating with member firms in other countries via Grant Thornton's international network. I have worked with clients across a range of industries including distribution, energy and resources, manufacturing, technology and software, retail, financial services, professional services and not for profits. I have completed a 6 month secondment to the Grant Thornton UK LLP London office where I gained valuable knowledge regarding UK GAAP and UK reporting requirements. I have also spent 6 months seconded to a client working under the supervision of the group CFO. My responsibilities here included processing of month end journals, preparing budgets as well as management analysis. I am a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and hold a Bachelor of Applied Finance/Bachelor of Commerce- Accounting double degree from Macquarie University.
