Currently working as Data Steward in the greater Pittsburgh area where I work with several departments which include finance, marketing and IT to ensure accurate data management and timely project completion as it affects business needs, supply chain flow and overall customer satisfaction. Past experience includes being a Senior Logistics Coordinator in the freight brokerage and logistics industry. This past experience included seven years of supply chain management of various accounts ranging from steel, lumber and plastics as well as other commodities in a 3PL environment. Overall supply chain coordination included rate negotiations with customers and transportation carriers, market analysis and implementation of business and project plans. My goal and strategy is always geared to help reduce cost initiatives and constantly strive to improve logistics service and data management for all clients with a focus on business acumen. My academic background in Corporate Communications has provided me with strategic communications skills with regards to closing deals and detailed research projects.
