As a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Group, I drive value in the private equity sector by delivering measurable financial improvements and operational excellence. With over 30 years of operational experience as an IT leader and Chief Technology Officer, I provide strategic insights and implement effective solutions to optimize performance and achieve substantial growth for my clients’ portfolio companies. My work focuses on all aspects of the M&A lifecycle including buy-side and sell-side IT due diligence, merger integration, carve outs and stand-ups, cost optimization and EBITDA improvement, and interim technology leadership. My prior experience includes CTO roles from start-ups to large corporations (public and PE-owned) in industries such as financial services, software product manufacturers, and data & analytics. I was a technology leader at S&P Global (formerly McGraw-Hill) for 11 years, including the CTO of J.D. Power. I also have entrepreneurial experience creating and operating software and technology service providers. I founded iClick, a software company in the HR & Benefits automation space, which I sold to ProAct Technologies. Prior to iClick, I was in telecommunications and internet services, including with Advanced Network & Services, the seminal operator of NSFNet, the predecessor to the Internet; and with Timeplex.
