I began my career in IT as a support desk specialist. Within months I was promoted to a service management role wherein I was charged with maintaining ticket queues, vendor relations, and reporting. After 4 years in this role, I took on a position as a Major Incident Manager with a portfolio of over 40 clients. I excelled at this role until migrating to CGI's Corporate Global Security Organization as Incident and Problem Manager. Since then I have broadened my understanding of the various elements of IT and corporate security. This has lead to me a strong appreciation for data protection and the ever-growing legislation surrounding it. As of January 2022 I have changed roles and am now engaged in Third-Party Risk Assessment; still operating under CGI's GSO.
