I am a very senior, solutions focused strategic advisor with extensive experience in the Hospitality sector with an emphasis on effective problem solving and successful turnarounds as well as business operations change management, margin and profit improvement and re-positioning within strict deadlines and budgets. The global hotel, restaurant, and bar industries continue to navigate challenges stemming from the pandemic, Brexit as well as more recent headwinds from labour shortages, inflation, and geopolitical concerns. While tourism and hotel performance recovery forges ahead in much of Ireland, the need for timely data analysis remains as great as ever and I believe I am well positioned to do this giving client organisations competitive advantage. With top class communication skills, I have developed proven abilities in presenting persuasive arguments and maintaining focus under pressure which I have demonstrated during the early days of Covid-19. I communicate and negotiate with impact and have a track record of success in implementing robust financial / business processes, procedures, systems and solutions whilst leveraging technology to deliver excellence. I have extensive experience of effectively planning and managing projects, maximising resources and setting realistic but challenging goals to be delivered within specific timeframes and budgets, and you will note from my track record how successful I have been in the delivery of those. I have the ability to engage with, manage and motivate people at a range of levels and experience. Through effective communication and clear direction, I manage to quickly build trust and highly effective working relationships. I have effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
