As an Emergency Communications Operator at Windsor Fire & Rescue Service (WFRS), I play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the community. I handle emergency calls, dispatch fire crews, and coordinate with other agencies to provide timely and effective responses. I use my communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to manage stressful and complex situations, and to support my team and the public. I graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor's degree in Criminology in 2021, where I developed a keen interest in the social and legal aspects of crime and justice. I also gained valuable experience as an Ambulance Communications Officer at the Ontario Ministry of Health, where I assisted with the coordination and delivery of pre-hospital emergency medical services. I am passionate about serving and protecting people, and I aspire to advance my career in the emergency communications field.
