About Jonathan Ng Thow Hing

You will find that my academic background both overseas and in Canada has prepared me for more advanced studies. I completed a bachelor degree in Finance at Concordia University in May 2016, and completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as well as the CFA Investment Foundations Program. In addition to maintaining a solid academic record, I have enjoyed working with my academic and collegiate communities by taking part in internship programs at ‘PWC’ and ‘AfrAsia Capital Management’ in Mauritius. There I gained invaluable experience with real life responsibilities in the world of both Finance and Accounting. Having worked at CIBC and BMO gave me the ability to better understand the customer and allowed me to gain invaluable experiences in being able to deliver great customer service. I have had a wide range of work activities and personal experiences that represent both my commitment to community involvement, as well as my ability to adapt to a wide range of tasks. I have worked as both a supervisor and cashier for a coffee shop during summer holidays for 3 years. I was also involved in the Scout Movement in Mauritius for 6 years. Each of these involvements has helped me to broaden my abilities with interpersonal communication as well as enhance my array of involvement in rigorous, self-motivated fields. The sum of these activities and experiences has helped me excel at my current role at Ifinance Canada. I have been named Top Performer for a record 8 Months in a row.
