About Jonathan Nickow

Jon and the Summit Trail team advise a select group of individuals and families on all aspects of their complex financial worlds in a completely independent, straightforward and unbiased manner. Jon focuses on being a fiduciary that is accountable and trustworthy, always putting client interests first. Prior to joining Summit Trail Advisors, Jon helped invest Northwestern University's $10+ billion endowment as an Investment Associate for the University's Investment Office. His primary focus included equity, fixed income and hedge fund investment strategies. Prior to joining the Northwestern University Investment Office, Jon was an analyst on the manager research team at Grosvenor Capital Management, a fund of hedge funds in Chicago. In this role, he focused on underwriting investment managers, particularly those focused on US and European equity/credit and commodities strategies. Jon graduated from the Kelley School of Business with honors at Indiana University with a double major in finance and accounting. He loves Chicago sports, including the Chicago Cubs.
