About Jonathan Oconnor

With over 15 years of experience in satellite communications, operations and network engineering, I am a driven and versatile Sr. Program Manager at Trace Systems, a leading provider of IT and communications solutions to the defense and intelligence communities. I have a passion for delivering innovative and secure solutions that support the mission-critical needs of our customers and end-users. I have a strong background in management information systems, satellite communications, and network security, and I hold a Security+ certification from CompTIA. In my current role, I lead the technical aspects of the MWR Internet Café program, which provides internet access to service members and civilians in austere and urban environments worldwide. I manage a team of three engineers, and I am responsible for the operations, maintenance, security, product evaluation, vendor management, ISO/CMMI evaluations, and corporate strategy of the program. I also manage new project kickoff and architecture development, and advise senior executive staff on project status and opportunities. I leverage my skills in customer relationship management, troubleshooting, and network engineering to ensure the quality and reliability of the services we provide.
