About Jonathan Orlicz

I'm a Programs Director for IYSA (IL Youth Soccer Association); in this role I work with a team to organize a number a of different programs and events. I work from the initial planning stages through budgeting to the implementation, all way to the post-analysis of the program/event. One of the primary programs we offer and I have a leading role in is ODP. As director of this program my responsibilities include; budgeting, communication, procuring facilities, registration management, scheduling, marketing/advertising, preparing and executing presentations for the staff as well as the parents of the program participants. The ODP program is critical to IYSA, it runs for 9 months, and I have been the lead director for the last 4 years. I've been at IYSA for 12 years and started as a part-time intern while I was attending school at Harper College for my Associate's Degree as well as later attending Northern Illinois University for my Bachelor's in Political Science. As my responsibilities grew I flourished in learning program and event management; after much hard work, I was promoted to a Programs Director. Over the years I've gained invaluable experience in time-management, working on a team as well as independently, problem-solving, and creating/managing budgets.
