About Jonathan Parkes
Passionate about people. Curious about innovation. Enthusiastic about teaching. Excited about growing businesses. I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics. My research focuses on value creation and go-to-market strategy. I am interested in various topics, including strategy, operations, SCM, ag-tech, entrepreneurship, and innovation. I teach a wide range of business topics, including project management, problem-solving, design thinking, and effective communication. I also provide accessibility support to students with special needs. Beyond academia, I have a strong entrepreneurial spirit. In 2022, I co-founded MetaCycler BioInnovations, an innovative biotech start-up, and served as its COO for two years. During my tenure, we expanded our team, scaled production, and secured over in funding. I am grateful for my network and continuously growing it - I welcome the opportunity to connect!
