About Jonathan Phillips

Jonathan is celebrating his 25th year in wealth management and client relationships that now include their children and other family members. Jonathan takes tremendous pride in crafting retirement planning strategies, tax management strategies, and gifting strategies for clients. Based on his philosophy that "time spent with clients is time well spent," Jonathan helps clients examine aspects of their wealth that may be neglected. He also brings attention to wealth transfer issues and frequently coordinates with clients' tax and legal advisors. Jonathan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ CFP® certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University and a Certificate in Financial Planning from Duke University. An avid sportsman, Jonathan enjoys hunting and offshore fishing, coaching his children's sports teams and serving as an assistant scout master for his son's Boy Scout Troop. He is also a member of the Wake County Estate Planning Council and an active member of the American Mensa Society. Jonathan attends White Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh with his wife, Mary Paige, and their three children.
