About Jonathan Prias

I am a digital communicator and media specialist with 8+ years of experience. I have created and edited videos and digital content in Spanish and English for clients/companies in Canada, Spain, Singapore, and Colombia, supporting and managing strategic marketing and communication campaigns over the years. I am well-versed in communications, video production, editing, photography, and design tools; and also skilled in UX and UI design principles, wireframing, prototyping, and researching. I define myself with these three words: Empathy, Strategy, and Imagination. My first steps toward a successful digital project are informed researching, wise planning, and thorough briefing; they help empathize with potential customers, users, or audiences. On the other side, all media products—whether a video, an email campaign, an animated infographic, a mobile app, a website, etc— have a story to tell; a good dose of imagination is vital for people to understand, feel, engage, and be loyal to a brand or product. I enjoy creating stories for my son, themes, activities for parties, and special gifts to remember. Video games and tabletop games are also my passions; I especially enjoy RPGs and strategy games. I am a creator of ideas; it might sound simple, but I have always said… New skill? If it exists, it can be learned!… Is there another way to do it better? Let’s try it!
