About Jonathan Read

A professional engineering leader with 35 years experience based on 20 years as a submarine weapon engineering officer in the Royal Navy followed by 15 years of applying model based engineering techniques to development projects in a variety of management roles in companies large and small. In recent years the focus has been on helping organisations identify the right technologies and projects for investment to further their strategic goals. The systematic application of analysis and experimentation enables assessment of project technical viability and business potential, as well as definition of requirements for prototyping and demonstration activities. Having chosen the prototypes to build, the analysis also enables identification of the right resources and management approach ahead of project start-up and then supports the smooth transition to the execution teams.
