About Jonathan Rice

I am a news producer with a B.A. in Media Studies and a minor in Political Science from the University of Tulsa. Currently, I produce the 10 p.m. show on weekdays and the 9 p.m. show on weekends for KOKH (KOCB) 25 in Oklahoma City. My role involves coordinating closely with reporters, photographers, and digital teams to shape the content of our shows and ensure impactful, accurate storytelling. Throughout my media career, I’ve built a strong foundation in media literacy and strategic communication. My experience as a Marketing Communications Intern at the University of Tulsa provided hands-on skills in content creation and audience engagement. Additionally, my three years producing for TUTV sharpened my ability to distill complex information into clear, concise stories, a critical asset in today’s fast-paced media landscape. I am passionate about promoting accuracy and truth. My background in media literacy and critical analysis makes me a valuable asset for any organization navigating the complexities of modern communication and the challenge of combating mis- and disinformation.
