About Jonathan Roldan

2018 is the year that marks the start of my career path into Software Engineering I made the decision to attend a Code Bootcamp held at the University of Central Florida and from there I was immersed. Immersed in the field that is Software Engineering, from learning how to create pages from mockups to learning how to structure API's more effectively the following years were years of non stop growth both personally and in my career. After learning I was going to be a father, I began doubling down on my learning continuing to push myself even further although my foot was in the door I could not risk or entertain the thought of failure. Pushing through Imposter Syndrome, I have become a completely different person I am no longer dreading my days working in a position I was not passionate about. I enjoy every single day that I am able to challenge myself, every day that I am able to do what I love and come home to my son who I plan to encourage to do likewise. Coming up on 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, I do not regret a single minute of this journey.
