Multi-disciplined investigator and supervisor for serious and complex investigations. Experienced practitioner within the public protection investigation arena, accredited child abuse investigator and the police misconduct regime. Skilled investigative interviewer of both victims and suspects, trained in Achieving Best Evidence to complete video interviews with adults and children, and an advanced suspect interviewer (tier 3) confident in analysing evidence and identifying gaps in accounts provided. Having worked across two different forces I have a proven ability to adapt to change in policies and procedures. I have used this first hand experience to work in a change programme, introducing online reporting as part of the Digital Policing Portfolio. I thrive in seeing people reach their potential, evidenced by my work with detectives and volunteering within rugby as a player coach and referee coach. I recognise each person as an individual with their own aspirations and help find a route for them to succeed and achieve.
