Jonathan Ross is an attorney licensed in New Jersey and Washington State. He served as a Judicial Law. in the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. Prior to his clerkship, Jonathan worked as a Legal Research Assistant at the New Jersey Department of Health, where he authored a comprehensive whitepaper and presented findings at the National EMS Conference on privacy issues impacting the state's opioid use disorder treatment programs. Jonathan earned his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law. During law school, he was awarded Best Oral Advocate in his Appellate Advocacy class and completed the McLaughlin Trial Advocacy Workshop. Jonathan served as the Managing Editor of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal and participated in the school's Human Rights and Immigration Legal Clinic. He concentrated in Health Law, earning Excellence in Health Law, and obtained a Healthcare Compliance Certificate. With former direct healthcare experience as an EMT, Jonathan provides a unique perspective as a healthcare and privacy attorney. His expertise spans HIPAA, FDA law, healthcare fraud and abuse, administrative law, legal and ethical issues in medicine, and more. While in law school, Jonathan interned at Rutgers University's Office of General Counsel and completed a Compliance Fellowship at Otsuka Pharmaceutical, developing a data dashboard for open payments analysis and supporting compliance policy development.
