Shortly after, I began acting at the level of Duty Editor, a job which I formally took on in March 2014.As a senior grade, I have contributed greatly to the management and organization of the Newsroom, and have helped with the development and training of junior reporters, the scheduling of newsreader and presenter rosters, and the transition from analogue modus operandi to digital. As a member of the Newsroom, I have taken on the presentation of debate and discussion programmes, such as Viewpoint, Newsreview, and the General Election debates. In 2013, I produced and presented ‘The Ghost Trail’, a hugely successful and popular paranormal series. My international field reporting has taken me to the United Nations Committee of 24 and the Fourth Committee in New York, the Office of the Prime Minister in 10 Downing Street, the Heritage Foundation in Washington, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Carlton Gardens, the House of Lords Privy Council, The Spanish Foreign Affairs Ministry in Madrid, the European Parliament in Brussels, and to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
