It was during a tumultuous period of my life, while I questioned which direction to take in college and beyond, that I stumbled across an Aeronautical Science Program brochure. Discovering this career path flipped on the switch for me - it seemed like everything about it fit with what I wanted out of life. Over the next five years I threw myself wholeheartedly into studying Aeronautics; cherishing every lesson learned as part of its rewards-laden journey.until eventually realizing that the lifestyle associated with working in aviation wasn't quite right for me after all. In a bold and decisive move, I decided to abandon my life in aviation and pursue the entrepreneurial dreams that had been growing inside me. This life-altering choice brought me to Colorado where, alongside some of Cannabis' leading innovators, I was able build not one but two successful companies focused on this new industry. However after 5 years - including an especially challenging period post-Covid - it became time for change once more; transitioning from Owner/Operator into something else entirely. After years of working tirelessly in the industry, I decided to take time off and focus on my personal wellbeing. This gave me room for introspection that no professional should ever ignore – living a life without becoming complacent with your job or people around you. That's when the journey which has led to where I am today truly started - insurance! It may not sound like an exciting career choice, but it was so much more than just 'insurance' —it felt cosmic: protecting what matters most by having all assets properly insured is something that resonated with me deeply as both homeowner and business owner alike. My journey as the Risk Architect started when I realized how to use insurance safely and strategically, which inspired me to transfer the risk management skill set of flying jets over into my entrepreneurial endeavors. Through this fusion between aviation training & business ownership, combined with a willingness to break out of ordinary conventions, I am now able unlock greater heights! Everyone's story is unique in it's own way - It serves as an invaluable key that helps us reach our full potential. We must strive forward and defy expectations; only then can we truly soar above all odds! With that endeavor comes risk, and that’s where I excel.
