About Jonathan Scrivner

I am interested in working collaboratively with other education professionals and organizations as a consultant for all things STEM education. In particular, I hope to find opportunities to help others develop curriculum components and implementation models. I have served as a teacher, coach, and advisor to students. I have acted as team leader and mentor to my colleagues in a variety of roles. I collaborate with community business leaders in garnering resources and making STEM curriculum pertinent to current workforce trends. My current focus is in the area of automation and robotics and computer science. I have also been afforded an opportunity work with our upstate STEM collaborative, Project Lead The Way, the South Carolina Department of Education, the University of South Carolina, Mass Learning, and Clemson University to develop opportunities for 3D-printing, robotics, and computer science in K-12 classrooms. I work with PLTW colleagues on the state and national levels in collaborative curriculum planning, curriculum development, and lead professional learning opportunities and core training for new Gateway teachers. I feel very comfortable and confident in leadership positions, but I ultimately enjoy any opportunities to collaborate with all stakeholders within a decision making scenario in efforts to reach an optimal solution.
