About Jonathan Senter

I’m a driven person who loves to overcome challenges and problem solve. My A level qualifications show the versatility of my interests, as while I’m largely interested in Mathematics, I have an appreciation for study of people, such as in Sociology and Psychology. I have experience in several different workplace settings, and I have worked in both independent and team-based roles which shows my adaptability and flexibility. In my spare time I have refereed for my local youth football teams which has developed my leadership skills as well as showing my ability to work with children. I formerly had an interest in journalism and spent a year of study at UCFB Wembley – studying the course BA (Hons) Multimedia Sports Journalism. I decided it was the best option to move on from journalism as I didn’t see a career that I would enjoy. I thought it was best to not waste any more time, and head directly into work. However, the experience at university, such as living by myself and managing my workload, developed my ability to work independently, as well as my time control, as we had to face deadlines. I had two articles published for YourLocalPaper Sport, thanks to a column opportunity for students set up by the newspaper company and journalist/promoter Gavin Caney. I enjoy researching my subject matter extensively and finding ways to secure interview time with relevant people.
