About Jonathan Servais

I'm currently working for Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd on Amaruq project. I have over 15 years' experience in the mining industry. During these years, I have gained many skills such as resource estimation; 3D modelling; geostatistics; managing of a diamond drilling program (drill and team supervision, drillhole planning, core logging and interpretation); mapping; rock, till, soil and vegetation sampling; ground geophysics (VLF, Beepmat). I also have experience in production at an underground gold mine where I monitored the underground stopes; undertook geological interpretation and mapping; estimated reserves and resources; developed the stopes design in collaboration with the engineering department; and completed a variety of reports. I have been involved with exploration projects mainly for gold but also uranium, base metals and diamonds at James Bay, Abitibi, St-Jean Lake and Groulx Mounts in the province of Québec and some projects in Nunavut and Ontario, Canada. I am facile with Leapfrog Geo, Leapfrog Edge, Datamine Studio RM, Snowden Supervisor, DH Logger, Geoticlog, Mapinfo and Microsoft Office software. I am conscientious, reliable, and work well in both an individual and team setting.
